Senior Software Developer – Data Analytics

About the role

Caseware, a global fintech leader, is looking for a Senior Software Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of its cloud‑based Data Analytics platform. This fully remote position supports thousands of concurrent analytic jobs and serves a worldwide network of auditors and accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and support end‑to‑end features and architectural improvements for the Data Analytics platform.
• Write production‑grade code daily using modern cloud‑native patterns and technologies.
• Mentor and coach a small squad of developers through design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to clarify requirements, surface technical risks, and communicate trade‑offs.
• Maintain a green, stable, and deployable main branch by enforcing strong CI/CD, testing, and operational practices.
• Work with DevOps/CloudOps to ensure the squad has the necessary tooling and infrastructure.
• Own production reliability, conduct post‑mortems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide 24/7 production support for the services managed by the squad.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a hands‑on approach to complex technical challenges.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud‑native development patterns and technologies.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and operational best practices.
