Senior Software Developer - Data Analytics

About the role

Caseware, a global fintech leader, is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join its Data Analytics department. You will lead a small squad that builds and operates a cloud‑based Data Analytics platform handling thousands of concurrent import and analytic jobs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver end‑to‑end features and architectural improvements for the platform.
• Write production‑grade code daily for critical services, pipelines, and frameworks using modern cloud‑native patterns.
• Mentor team members through design reviews, pair programming, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to clarify requirements, surface technical uncertainty, and communicate trade‑offs.
• Maintain a green, stable, and deployable trunk through strong CI/CD, testing, and operational practices.
• Coordinate with DevOps/CloudOps to ensure tooling, infrastructure, and support are in place.
• Own production reliability, conduct post‑mortems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide 24/7 production support for the systems managed by the squad.

Required profile

• Hands‑on technical leader with experience guiding a small development squad.
• Proven ability to design and implement cloud‑native solutions.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and operational best practices.
• Experience ensuring production reliability and handling on‑call support.
