Senior Software Developer / Solutions Architect & Technical PM

About the role

We are seeking a senior software developer who will also serve as solutions architect and technical project manager to drive the next phase of a large‑scale, high‑traffic digital platform modernization. The role combines hands‑on development, architectural design, and end‑to‑end project leadership, working closely with the client’s engineering and UX/UI partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead both development and QA teams across the engagement, assigning tasks, reviewing code, and setting technical and quality standards.
• Own the project plan, maintain timelines, run weekly Linear‑tracked reviews, and report status and risks to stakeholders.
• Direct QA and acceptance testing for the Payload‑on‑Vercel migration, including cold‑start, connection‑pool, jobs queue, and bulk‑operation limits.
• Define and validate performance budgets (TTFB, LCP, INP, CLS, personalization latency) and test the Vercel build under simulated peak traffic.
• Establish observability tooling for infrastructure monitoring, uptime checks, and application performance/error tracking from day one.
• Design and test disaster‑recovery procedures for the Vercel/Neon topology.
• Model Vercel usage costs and ensure they stay within a predefined budget.
• Co‑lead security and privacy validation, covering access management, secrets handling, edge/runtime security, and GDPR/CCPA compliance via OneTrust.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading cross‑functional engineering teams on large web platforms.
• Strong background in project management with proven ability to deliver complex migrations on schedule.
• Deep understanding of performance optimization and observability in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance standards for global digital products.
