Senior Specialist – Legal Services

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist to join its Global Business Services Center (GBSC) Legal Services team. The role focuses on end‑to‑end contract preparation and execution for a portfolio of transactions, ensuring compliance and delivering excellent customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Receive contract requests, triage them, and ensure adherence to business policies and procedures.
• Draft, review, and negotiate routine vendor and commercial agreements, including NDAs, software license agreements, support service agreements, and consulting services agreements.
• Collaborate with business unit clients and subject‑matter experts to prepare, revise, and execute agreements in line with approved policies and playbooks.
• Analyze contract terms, special provisions, and compliance requirements against applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Provide superior customer service, meeting quality, response‑time, and resolution‑time standards and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or JD, combined with relevant legal experience.
• Demonstrated ability to solve legal and business problems and to improve processes.
• Strong commitment to customer service and excellence.
