Technology Consultant – Relocate to Saudi Arabia (Expat Package)

About the role

We are looking for a Technology Consultant to join the Global Manufacturing Excellence Digitalization and Technology Division (D&TD) at Saudi Aramco. The position is based in Saudi Arabia on a permanent expatriate relocation package and focuses on driving technology initiatives across the downstream manufacturing portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of technologies across petrochemical facilities, refineries, terminals, bulk plants and gas plants.
• Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business challenges such as energy optimisation, sustainability, plant availability and process optimisation.
• Accelerate technology deployment by coordinating with internal teams, external execution agencies and vendors.
• Conduct feasibility studies, including technical and economic evaluations of new solutions and platforms.
• Perform technology scouting to identify innovative, value‑adding technologies.
• Prepare business cases and cost‑benefit analyses for technology deployments.
• Collaborate with consultants, engineers and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Produce reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
• Work with technology providers to develop and deliver training programs for end‑users.
• Monitor and update standards and governance as required, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical); Master’s degree preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience as a Technology Consultant, focusing on ideation, scouting, introduction and tracking of technology deployments.
• Strong understanding of downstream oil and gas technologies and processes.
