Webmaster & Digital Marketing Specialist

About the role

Opal Group is seeking a self‑starter to manage and grow its web presence and digital marketing initiatives. Working remotely, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and visibility of the company’s event‑focused websites while driving traffic, engagement, and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer day‑to‑day website operations, including content updates, landing pages, event pages, and sponsor information.
• Monitor and improve site uptime, speed, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, and resolve technical issues.
• Manage hosting, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, backups, staging environments, plugins, themes, and security updates.
• Conduct QA across devices and browsers and make basic HTML/CSS edits.
• Oversee SEO tasks: keyword research, metadata, structured data, internal linking, sitemaps, redirects, and indexing via Google Search Console.
• Track organic traffic, rankings, and search visibility; collaborate with marketing to optimize content.
• Implement and monitor Google AdSense, ensuring policy compliance and performance.

Required profile

• Proactive, self‑motivated professional comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
• Strong English communication skills; only English resumes considered.
• Experience managing websites for events or similar high‑traffic platforms.
