Engineer – Linear Infrastructure & Site Civils

About the role

AECOM is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer II to join its Linear Infrastructure & Site Civils team in Bogotá. The role supports the design and development of highway, urban road, and airport projects, from conceptual layouts through detailed design.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in developing geometric designs for highways, urban roads, and airport facilities.
• Prepare and update 3D models of road corridors, runways, taxiways and terrain using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Support design of earthworks, platforms, traffic signage and produce design reports, specifications and quantity take‑offs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (drainage, structures, lighting, pavements) and coordinate with CAD designers to ensure accurate deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Surveying, Transportation Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in geometric roadway design, including highways and urban roads.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and basic knowledge of AASHTO or local roadway standards.
• Fluent English (B2) for reading design standards and specifications.

Required skills

• Autodesk Civil 3D (mandatory).
• Familiarity with InfraWorks, Navisworks, MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer.
• Basic knowledge of Autodesk Subassembly Composer or Dynamo (desirable).
