GS Jr Finance Analyst

About the role

The GS Jr Finance Analyst supports General Ledger processes across the Americas, executing core accounting activities, analyzing financial information, and contributing to accurate and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support general accounting processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities.
• Summarize and analyze balance‑sheet and income‑statement data.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of financial statements and corporate reports.
• Support forecasting activities and variance analysis.
• Track deliverables and ensure timely execution of assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and support audit requirements.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and accounting‑process standardisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience handling sensitive financial information and documentation.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• English language proficiency.
