About the role
DACK is seeking a proactive Key Account Manager to lead and expand strategic relationships with its most important customers in the agricultural commodities sector. Based in Bogota, you will act as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and driving growth for the business.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with strategic customers.
- Understand client requirements, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and monitor order execution.
- Resolve service or delivery issues in coordination with internal supply chain, logistics, and finance teams.
- Create account plans, track performance against targets, and identify upselling or cross‑selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting and timely deliveries.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing key accounts and maintaining long‑term customer relationships.
- Strong analytical and business planning abilities to assess performance and forecast demand.
- Excellent customer service orientation with a focus on problem‑solving and clear communication.
- Background in agricultural commodities, trading, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Agribusiness or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on‑site in Bogota and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using reporting tools.
- Fluency in Spanish and working proficiency in English (preferred).
