About the role
The Key Account Manager will lead private strategic customer accounts for Johnson & Johnson MedTech in the Antioquia and Santander regions of Colombia. Reporting to the Surgery commercial organization, the role focuses on delivering clinical and economic value to hospitals and health systems, strengthening long‑term partnerships and supporting the company’s growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with C‑suite executives, procurement leaders, operating‑room managers and commercial heads.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with business unit priorities and portfolio opportunities.
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities to increase market share and profitability.
- Monitor account performance, uncover growth opportunities and implement proactive action plans.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with clinical demand generation, marketing and product teams to align solutions with customer needs.
Required profile
- Proven experience in strategic account management within the MedTech or healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decision‑making.
- Strong understanding of hospital purchasing processes and clinical workflows.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a results‑oriented mindset.
