Linux Administrator

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a Linux Administrator to join its global infrastructure team. You will help design, implement and maintain Linux‑based systems that support development and operations across a range of client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and continuously improve the infrastructure used by development and operations teams.
• Design, deploy and manage Linux servers, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Perform OS operations, upgrades and security patching.
• Configure networking components such as TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, firewalls, DNS, LDAP and HTTP proxies.
• Apply IT security best practices and harden operating systems.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages and configuration‑management tools.
• Support large‑scale server environments in public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Required profile

• Strong technical background with Linux server operating systems.
• Hands‑on experience in OS administration, networking and security.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, global team.
