SEO Content Specialist – Local SEO (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an SEO Content Specialist focused on local SEO to join Mettano’s remote team. You will create and optimise service pages, location pages and blog posts that help home‑service businesses rank higher in search results and convert visitors into customers.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit high‑quality blog posts, service pages and location pages for home‑service clients.
• Apply on‑page SEO best practices, including keyword placement, meta descriptions, heading hierarchy, internal linking, URL structure and content formatting.
• Review existing client content, identify gaps, fix inconsistencies and improve overall quality.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to align content with strategic priorities and timelines.
• Communicate with clients to gather feedback and ensure content meets their expectations.

Required profile

• Fluent English with excellent writing and editing abilities.
• Proven experience in SEO, on‑page optimisation and content creation for local businesses.
• Ability to work independently and meet daily overlap hours with EST (GMT‑09:00 to GMT‑01:00).
