Tax Accountant

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its finance team in Bogota. You will support the company’s global tax compliance efforts while contributing to its mission of improving healthcare worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal, international and state VAT tax returns.
• Produce external reporting of tax obligations.
• Monitor state and local tax regulations and develop strategies to minimize tax exposure.
• Collaborate with external auditors on tax compliance matters.
• Participate in merger and acquisition tax planning activities.
• Ensure overall tax compliance for the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Advanced or fluent English proficiency.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a tax department of a multinational company.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
