About the role
Medtronic is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its finance team in Bogota. You will support the company’s global tax compliance efforts while contributing to its mission of improving healthcare worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, international and state VAT tax returns.
- Produce external reporting of tax obligations.
- Monitor state and local tax regulations and develop strategies to minimize tax exposure.
- Collaborate with external auditors on tax compliance matters.
- Participate in merger and acquisition tax planning activities.
- Ensure overall tax compliance for the organization.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Advanced or fluent English proficiency.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a tax department of a multinational company.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
