Technical Support Specialist – HealthTech/EHR (Tier 2)

About the role

We are seeking a Tier 2 Technical Support Specialist to assist healthcare clients with complex issues related to Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. The role is fully remote and ideal for analytical professionals who quickly master intricate software and enjoy problem‑solving in a health‑technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 technical support for issues escalated from Tier 1 teams.
• Troubleshoot complex problems involving EHR/EMR platforms, integrations, and user workflows.
• Investigate system errors, configuration issues, and data inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and implementation teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and update the knowledge base.
• Assist customers in understanding system functionality and resolving technical concerns.

Required profile

• Experience supporting EHR/EMR systems in a technical support, implementation, or healthcare IT role.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication (B2‑C1 level).
• Comfortable explaining technical issues to both technical and non‑technical users.

Required skills

• Familiarity with at least one EHR/EMR platform: Epic, Cerner, Oracle Health, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen Healthcare, Meditech, Allscripts, Veradigm.
• Experience with support ticketing systems.
• Proficiency with documentation tools.
