About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking an Account Manager to lead client relationships for a high‑growth fintech and cryptocurrency client. You will own a portfolio of existing accounts, drive retention, renewals, and identify growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts via phone, email, chat, and meetings.
  • Build deep relationships by understanding each client’s goals, pain points, and expansion potential.
  • Own the retention strategy, manage end‑to‑end contract renewals, and lead renegotiations with Legal, Finance, and Compliance.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Operations, Support, Product, Engineering) to troubleshoot and resolve account issues.
  • Identify, pursue, and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities while maintaining an active expansion pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, communication logs, and account data.

Required profile

  • 2+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or a B2B client‑facing role.
  • Proven track record of managing renewals and retaining a book of business.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and cross‑functional coordination skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and ownership‑driven mindset.
  • Bonus: background in fintech, payments, crypto, or regulated industries; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

  • Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) proficiency.
