Account Resolution Associate

About the role

Iron Mountain is seeking an analytical Account Resolution Associate in Bogotá to resolve customer disputes and unlock blocked payments, improving Accounts Receivable and Days Sales Outstanding. The role connects teams across Billing, Sales and Operations to turn billing friction into clear solutions while keeping financial accuracy and customer trust.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate billing, pricing, service and contractual inquiries and resolve them with internal teams to close cases on time.
• Gather and review supporting documents to issue approved credits, rebills, adjustments or dispute rejections within agreed SLAs.
• Work with Collections Associates to prioritise high-value disputes blocking active payment collection.
• Track recurring dispute drivers and share insights to optimise financial workflows and prevent future issues.

Required profile

• More than 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Dispute Resolution, Customer Service or Collections.
• For internal candidates: must have held the current position for at least 6 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• C1 level English with strong written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of billing workflows, financial controls and dispute resolution processes.
• Hands-on use of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and Microsoft Excel or Google Suite.
