Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

The Accountant is a core member of the finance team, ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger and the integrity of financial reporting. The role bridges accounting, FP&A and cross‑functional partners while providing treasury support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable and accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment setup and collections follow‑up.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Set up customer accounts across credit‑card, ACH autopay and direct ACH methods.
• Handle account management for domestic and international wholesale customers.
• Process and reconcile Expensify expense reports and coordinate coding and approvals.
• Coordinate cleared‑to‑ship workflow with fulfillment and sales teams.
• Respond to customer and vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments and account status.
• Maintain banking relationships, open new accounts and oversee cash reporting.
• Compile investor reporting packages, including financial statements, KPIs and aging schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with month‑end responsibilities.
• Strong documentation discipline and ability to follow SOPs while flagging edge cases.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Xero accounting software (preferred).
• Expensify expense management tool (plus).
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, reconciliations).
