Accountant – Growth Financing Marketplace

About the role

We are a growth financing marketplace helping small business owners access capital and financial management services. We are seeking five accountants to join our team quickly, supporting accurate financial operations and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general‑ledger entries.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in line with US GAAP.
• Perform regular bank, credit‑card, and ledger reconciliations.
• Support tax compliance, audits, and filing requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless accounting workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably from a Big Four environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial reporting.
• Advanced English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to evolving technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Advanced Excel skills.
