Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join Auxis’ finance team. The role involves daily and monthly accounting tasks, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with GAAP and IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions, reconciling accounts and ensuring completeness.
• Prepare journal entries, support month‑end and year‑end close processes, and assist with financial statement preparation.
• Perform bank and key account reconciliations and respond to internal and external accounting inquiries.
• Assist in updating accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to meet regulatory standards.
• Participate in special projects such as audits, budgeting and forecasting as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and other accounting standards.
• Fluent in English; Spanish oral and written proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Required skills

• Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle or SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
