Accountant – People Manager

About the role

You will manage a portfolio of complex, international clients, overseeing the day‑to‑day accounting activities of captive insurance companies and other entities. The role combines technical accounting expertise with client‑facing responsibilities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including supplemental information required by each client.
• Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of international clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Reconcile cash and investment accounts, prepare bank deposits and cash disbursements.
• Organise and complete annual audits, including regulatory filings and GAAP financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal accounting controls.
• Maintain client files in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external service providers and prepare board‑meeting materials.
• Support internal Marsh controls and any client‑specific controls.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• CPA designation.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience preparing financial statements, working papers and general ledger entries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Fluent English and the local language; CVs must be in English.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational, prioritisation and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
