Accounting Manager – Lead Accounting Team

About the role

The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, lead a team of accountants, and ensure accurate, timely financial services for our clients. Reporting to senior management, you will combine technical expertise with strong client‑facing skills to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements prepared by the team.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing processes with cross‑functional partners.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant laws.
• Develop and nurture strong client relationships, serving as the primary contact for accounting matters.
• Prepare and present budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to clients and internal leadership.
• Implement robust financial controls and procedures to protect client assets.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading an accounting team and managing client accounts.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to meet service level agreements and maintain high client satisfaction scores.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
