Accounts Receivable & Collections Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Accounts Receivable & Collections Manager to lead a high‑performing finance team in a fast‑growing, remote environment. The role combines hands‑on AR processing with team leadership, ensuring timely collections and robust cash‑flow visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of five AR Specialists based in Mexico, providing coaching and performance oversight.
• Run and analyze weekly aging reports to monitor outstanding receivables.
• Ensure consistent follow‑ups on past‑due accounts and handle escalations via the AR inbox.
• Review transactional work, make day‑to‑day decisions on write‑offs, adjustments, and recommendations.
• Prepare and present collection performance metrics and reports using QuickBooks and Upflow.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Support, and Leadership, pushing back when necessary to maintain accounting integrity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or collections management.
• Prior experience supervising teams or demonstrated strong leadership potential.
• Hands‑on expertise with QuickBooks and solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Advanced English communication skills; Spanish is a plus for managing a LATAM team.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, non‑structured startup environment.
