Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist

About the role

The Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist coordinates and manages air freight operations so that shipments move efficiently and in line with customer requirements. The role works closely with airlines, customers and internal teams to handle bookings, transport documents, shipment monitoring and timely operational closure.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate air freight operations across the full shipment process, from initial booking to final closure.
• Manage airline bookings and review air transportation documents, including Master Air Waybills (MAWB) and House Air Waybills (HAWB).
• Monitor shipment status, spot operational deviations and follow up on pending activities to ensure timely execution.
• Apply Incoterms and operational procedures to support accurate and efficient shipment management.
• Work with internal teams, airlines and customers to maintain service quality and operational excellence.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement while keeping customer satisfaction at the core.

Required profile

• 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics, preferably in air freight operations or within a freight forwarding company.
• B1 conversational English.
• Knowledge of airline bookings, air freight documentation, MAWB, HAWB and Incoterms.
• Understanding of the air import/export process, including shipment coordination, tracking and operational closure.
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills, attention to detail, accountability and a sense of ownership.
• A proactive attitude, adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
