Android Application Engineer (Remote)

About the role

INDI is looking for an Android Application Engineer to join its remote team. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android applications, ensuring a seamless user experience across a variety of devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android apps using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement user interfaces that follow Material Design guidelines.
• Integrate applications with backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive features.
• Optimize performance and ensure compatibility across Android versions and devices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Android development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and performance optimization.
