BAS Controls Service Technician – Relocation Assistance

About the role

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced BAS Controls Service Technician to join our growing team. You will work on-site at commercial, industrial, and institutional customer locations, providing installation, programming, and maintenance of building automation and control systems while delivering high‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain building automation and DDC systems.
• Perform end‑to‑end device testing, program downloads, equipment start‑up, and preventive maintenance.
• Interpret control drawings, plans, and sequence‑of‑operations documents.
• Install hardware, program software, and modify control logic as required.
• Handle day‑to‑day and escalated customer issues, ensuring satisfaction.
• Document work performed, track time, and maintain electronic job records.
• Manage small projects independently and assist in developing client proposals for retrofits or upgrades.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of hands‑on experience with building automation and control systems.
• Proven ability to work independently, follow verbal and written instructions, and lift equipment up to 40 lb.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety policies.
