Business Control Analyst – Third‑Party Management

About the role

The Business Control Analyst supports Contract Owners throughout the third‑party management lifecycle, covering procurement intake, due‑diligence questionnaires, payment setup and SLA monitoring. The role ensures compliance with procurement and third‑party risk policies while coordinating with sourcing, legal, and control functions.

Key responsibilities

• Guide Contract Owners on onboarding, renewals and reassessments of suppliers.
• Manage supplier onboarding activities, including procurement intake, DDQ completion and payment setup, ensuring data quality.
• Oversee completion of TPRM questionnaires, clarify questions, gather stakeholder input and review responses.
• Monitor lifecycle workflows, track SLA adherence and report on onboarding performance.
• Facilitate collaboration between Contract Owners and internal teams such as Sourcing, Control Functions, TPRM and Legal.
• Escalate delays or issues to appropriate stakeholders and ensure resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation, audit trails and perform quality‑assurance checks.
• Provide training and guidance on processes to Contract Owners.
• Support initiatives to reduce the supplier base and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.
