Business Development Manager – Energy Solutions (Caribbean)

About the role

Our client, a global leader in Energy-as-a-Service, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to expand its commercial footprint across the Caribbean. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building executive relationships, and managing the full sales cycle for multi‑megawatt power solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and capture new business opportunities in utilities, oil & gas, mining, and industrial manufacturing.
• Develop and implement regional commercial strategies aligned with growth targets.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with senior executives and key decision‑makers.
• Lead opportunities from prospecting through contract execution.
• Collaborate with technical, operations, and finance teams to create client‑specific proposals.
• Monitor energy market trends, including thermal and renewable solutions.
• Deliver presentations and proposals in English and Spanish.
• Maintain accurate data in CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• 5+ years of experience in energy sales or energy‑related projects/solutions.
• Strong client network and established relationships with key market players.
• Proven ability to develop, secure approval for, and execute sales strategies and budgets.
• Familiarity with both thermal and renewable energy markets.
• Willingness to work remotely and travel frequently across the Caribbean and Central America.
