Business Development Representative (BDR)

About the role

SellCord is an agency that launches and scales brands exclusively on Walmart Marketplace. As it expands its outbound sales, it is hiring Business Development Representatives in Bogotá on a hybrid basis. You will be the first point of contact for many brands, inviting them to in-person and digital events and booking meetings with warm and cold leads for the Sales team. The role suits someone with high-volume phone experience who is motivated by targets and commission.

Key responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls and send personalized emails inviting brands to SellCord's events
• Follow up marketing leads and cold responses, qualify interest and book meetings for the Sales team
• Run calling and email campaigns with cold calling tools and target lead lists
• Learn SellCord's Walmart Marketplace services and handle objections confidently
• Log calls, emails, leads and meetings accurately in HubSpot
• Meet weekly and monthly targets for calls, meetings set and event registrations
• Complete onboarding training, including reviewing sales call recordings and learning the e-commerce industry
• Share feedback from prospect conversations with Marketing and Sales to improve messaging and targeting

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume phone role such as SDR/BDR, inside sales, telesales, customer service or call center
• Strong verbal and written English, able to speak with US business owners and executives
• Proactive, self-motivated and goal-driven
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Willingness to work from the Bogotá office on a hybrid schedule

Required skills

• CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)
• Sales engagement or cold calling tools (a plus)
