Business Intelligence Report Developer – Power BI

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Report Developer to join our Data and Analytics team. You will design, build, and maintain a centralized enterprise reporting environment that powers cross‑business dashboards and supports the bank’s analytics strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage a standardized Power BI reporting platform for multiple business lines.
• Collaborate with business users to translate requirements into optimized visualizations and self‑serve reports.
• Architect data sets and build high‑performance Power BI models, datasets, and dashboards.
• Develop advanced DAX formulas and ensure data models meet governed standards.
• Oversee Power BI governance, including RLS, deployment pipelines, workspace design, and reusable components.
• Enable self‑service BI through training, documentation, and stakeholder support.
• Partner with data engineering to deliver clean, high‑quality analytical data.
• Leverage Microsoft Fabric and Lakehouse/EDW architecture to modernize BI delivery.
• Communicate insights clearly and influence decision‑making across teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in BI processes, performance, and reliability.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in BI development.
• Expert‑level proficiency with Power BI (DAX, modeling, optimization, governance).
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (highly preferred) and BI/cloud certifications a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks, and Python data libraries (Pandas, Polars, DuckDB).
• Deep understanding of relational and dimensional modeling within modern data ecosystems.
• Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake and/or Oracle coding.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and strong work ethic.
