Business Performance Specialist (Data & Automation)

About the role

GEA seeks a hands‑on Business Performance Specialist to boost data, automation and reporting capabilities within its Planning, Controlling & Reporting team for the Middle Americas region. The role focuses on simplifying financial processes, improving data quality and delivering intuitive, visually professional dashboards and reports to support better business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate financial reporting, planning and controlling processes.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models and automated reporting solutions.
• Transform and consolidate data from SAP, Excel and other sources using Power Query.
• Implement data‑quality controls, validations, reconciliations and standardised KPI definitions.
• Create clear, visually polished reports and executive presentations with strong data storytelling.
• Support monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business‑performance analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics or related field.
• At least two years of hands‑on experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting automation or process improvement.
• Ability to analyse processes and independently build practical, scalable solutions.
• Strong communication and data‑storytelling skills.
• Minimum English level B2.
