C++ Developer (Unreal Engine)

About the role

EPAM is looking for a C++ Developer with strong Unreal Engine experience to join a multinational team creating real‑time interactive software. You will collaborate with programmers, designers, and artists to turn creative concepts into polished gameplay and UI experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable C++ functionality for real‑time applications.
• Partner with designers and artists to bring gameplay mechanics and UI components to life using Unreal Engine and UMG.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code that follows industry standards.
• Optimize runtime performance and memory usage across PC, mobile, and console platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor less‑experienced developers.
• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges throughout the production cycle.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical road‑maps for upcoming features.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of modern C++ standards and best practices.
• Hands‑on experience building applications with Unreal Engine.
• Proficiency in creating user interfaces with UMG or comparable UI toolkits.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
