Carrier Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Carrier Sales Representative to join our Global Forwarding team in Barranquilla. You will build and manage relationships with ocean carriers, drayage providers, and other transportation partners to support international freight movements.

Key responsibilities

• Source and develop relationships with ocean carriers, drayage providers, and transportation partners.
• Negotiate competitive rates and secure transportation capacity for international shipments.
• Utilize the company's Transportation Management System (TMS) to manage carrier activity and shipment information.

Required profile

• Previous experience in carrier sales, freight brokerage, freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation.
• Understanding of ocean freight, drayage, and international transportation operations.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience working with TMS platforms is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
• Advanced English level (B2 or higher) preferred.
