Carrier Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a Carrier Sales Representative to build and manage relationships with transportation carriers, securing capacity and negotiating competitive rates. The role supports our logistics and brokerage operations, ensuring reliable carrier coverage and contributing to margin performance.

Key responsibilities

• Source, onboard, and maintain relationships with transportation carriers.
• Negotiate rates and capacity to support shipment coverage.
• Secure carrier capacity for assigned loads and lanes.
• Communicate load details, expectations, and requirements clearly to carriers.
• Monitor shipments and proactively address issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate carrier and load information in internal systems.
• Collaborate with operations and account teams to meet service levels.
• Meet performance metrics related to coverage, margin, and service quality.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in carrier sales, logistics, freight brokerage, or a related sales role.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
