Case Manager – Personal Injury

About the role

The Case Manager will oversee personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation, ensuring timely progress, high‑quality client service, and strict compliance with legal deadlines and firm procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing regular updates and responding to inquiries via phone, email, and text.
• Review new case intakes, gather accident reports, witness statements, photographs, and other supporting documentation.
• Open insurance claims, verify coverage, and send Letters of Representation to identify liable parties.
• Request, organize, and manage medical records and billing statements; coordinate with healthcare providers on treatment updates.
• Analyze liability, damages, and supporting evidence; maintain detailed case notes and prepare treatment summaries and timelines.
• Prepare demand packages, draft settlement demand letters, and submit demands to insurance carriers while tracking negotiations and client authorizations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury case management, personal injury law, or a related legal case management role.
• Strong understanding of the personal injury claims process from intake through settlement.
• Experience with insurance claims, medical records, billing, and demand preparation.
• Knowledge of litigation procedures and discovery processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal case management software (Clio preferred).
• Advanced English (C1) communication skills.
• Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
