CERT Analyst - LATAM

About the role

Group‑IB is looking for a CERT Analyst to support its Latin America operations. The analyst will join the Computer Emergency Response Team, helping clients detect and mitigate phishing, online fraud, trademark misuse and other digital threats.

Key responsibilities

• Perform continuous monitoring and analytics of web resources to identify malicious activities.
• Detect, analyse and handle phishing attacks, online fraud, illegal trademark misuse and copyright violations.
• Communicate with resource owners, hosting providers, domain registrars and authorities to coordinate takedown actions.
• Provide support to clients in combating online brand abuse and prepare regular incident reports.
• Research emerging scams and phishing schemes to improve detection efficiency and enrich threat‑landscape knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong commitment to fighting cybercrime and protecting brand reputation.
• Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail and resourcefulness.
• Good understanding of network and Internet protocol operations.
• Ability to work with remote, multicultural teams.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Knowledge of web‑based threat vectors such as phishing, scams and online fraud.
