Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in a long‑term care setting. The role involves supporting residents with personal care, monitoring health status, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristbands or photo cards before providing care or services.
• Record vital signs, intake, and other observations on flow sheets and charts.
• Report any changes in resident condition, accidents, or incidents to the Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and report any suspected privacy violations.
• Prepare resident rooms, assist with transfers, and ensure personal belongings are properly handled.
• Provide assistance with feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene while monitoring for safety.
• Participate in shift handovers, attend nursing reports, and follow infection‑control policies.
• Respond to resident calls quickly and check on residents who cannot call for help.

Required profile

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential or equivalent training.
• Ability to follow written instructions and facility policies.
• Strong observational skills and ability to report changes accurately.
• Commitment to resident privacy and data security.
• Physical ability to assist with resident transfers and mobility.

Required skills

• Measuring and recording temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.
• Basic knowledge of authorized medical abbreviations.
• Ability to document resident care accurately on charts and flow sheets.
• Understanding of infection‑control and blood/body fluid exposure protocols.
