Cluster Manager – General Manager

About the role

Nacora, a fully owned subsidiary of Kuehne+Nagel, is looking for a strategic leader to head its regional cluster. The Cluster Manager – General Manager will be accountable for overall business performance, commercial growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across the assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Own the P&L, ensuring continuity, growth and profitability of the Nacora cluster.
• Develop and execute commercial strategy, including business development, client retention and strategic account management.
• Act as legal representative, managing relationships with key clients, insurers and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting and analysis of results.
• Provide technical oversight in insurance and risk underwriting to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams (commercial, claims, placement, administrative) and define KPIs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, insurers, partners and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 10+ years in insurance or financial services, with solid exposure to brokerage operations.
• 5+ years of proven leadership managing teams and business units.
• Strong financial knowledge, including P&L management and budgeting.
• Deep understanding of insurance products, risk underwriting and market dynamics.
• Experience interacting with regulatory entities and senior stakeholders.
• University degree in Business, Engineering, Law or related fields.
• Bilingual English (required) for regional and global interaction.
