Commercial Architect

About the role

Abbott is looking for a Commercial Architect to join its global Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) in the LATAM hub. Based in Bogotá, you will represent the COE on regional initiatives, ensuring that commercial CRM solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards and deliver business value.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the COE representative for LATAM, leading architecture alignment across regional commercial projects.
• Partner with Business Relationship Managers and regional teams to design CRM solutions that meet business outcomes.
• Enforce COE governance, platform guardrails, and architecture standards covering data, integration, security, environments, and releases.
• Guide teams toward standardized, reusable Salesforce solutions to minimise custom development and rework.
• Participate in intake, design, and build gates to ensure solution quality, scalability, and compliance.
• Support value realisation of Salesforce investments by promoting out‑of‑the‑box capabilities and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Mid‑to‑senior level experience in Salesforce architecture and delivery, with exposure to solution design and governance.
• Hands‑on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (Experience Cloud preferred).
• Strong understanding of commercial workflows such as sales pipeline, forecasting, case management and customer engagement.
• Proven ability to engage business stakeholders and translate needs into scalable CRM solutions.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
