Communications, Graphic Design & Multimedia Assistant Internship

About the role

The United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia (UNVMC) is seeking a Communications, Graphic Design and Multimedia Assistant to support its Strategic Communications and Public Information unit. This six‑month internship, based in Bogota, will help strengthen the mission’s public image and promote understanding of its mandate.

Key responsibilities

• Create multimedia and graphic products such as videos, brochures, infographics, images, presentations and social‑media posts.
• Assist in editing and post‑production using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.
• Gather information and design internal communication materials, including the quarterly newsletter.
• Monitor media coverage and support outreach activities.
• Provide photographic coverage of internal and external events and edit photos for digital and print use.
• Perform other communication tasks as required by the unit.

Required profile

• Colombian national currently enrolled in or having completed a graduate or final‑year bachelor program in Social Communication, Journalism or Graphic Design.
• Strong interest in public information, media relations and visual storytelling.
