About the role

The A2R Analyst Commercial Accounting position is based in Bogotá, Colombia and reports to the Senior Team Lead of Commercial Accounting. The role supports Controllers by handling revenue‑related accounting activities, performing monthly closings, and ensuring accurate financial records across the commercial function.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue closing.
• Manage and process revenue transactions, including recording accruals and adjustments.
• Liaise with Business Units and Finance partners to ensure correct revenue processing.
• Analyze accounts in the Black line to guarantee accurate figures.
• Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances in accounting records.
• Assess and recommend improvements to accounting policies, procedures and system processes.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Global Shared Services and other stakeholders to resolve customer‑related accounting issues.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and analytical mindset.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, especially revenue accounting.
• Experience in commercial or financial accounting functions.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with internal teams.
