Content Manager - Software Product

About the role

A partner company is looking for an experienced Content Manager based in Colombia to take ownership of content strategy, editorial quality and measurable results for a successful software product business. The role shapes editorial priorities, guides a small team of writers and combines AI-assisted creation with hands-on editing and optimization to improve visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead content direction, setting editorial priorities and choosing topics and formats with the most potential value
• Edit and improve new and existing content for clarity, accuracy, relevance and a high editorial standard
• Use AI tools to support research, drafting and editing while maintaining quality
• Lead and support a small team of writers, giving constructive feedback and helping them grow
• Track content performance and use data to guide improvements
• Improve visibility through SEO and optimization for AI-powered search, including GEO and AEO strategies
• Experiment with new topics, formats and approaches, evaluating performance and scaling what works
• Work with leadership, developers and product teams to turn technical knowledge into clear, accessible content

Required profile

• Several years of experience creating, writing and editing high-quality content, with strong writing skills and editorial judgment
• Previous experience leading a small team of writers
• Quality-first mindset focused on content value and impact rather than volume
• Ability to explain achievements and their contribution to business results
• Experience creating content for software, SaaS or other technical products
• Confidence working independently in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Hands-on SEO and optimization for AI-driven search (GEO and AEO)
• Strong practical knowledge of AI writing and editing tools, knowing when human judgment is essential
