Controller – Finance Operations & Billing

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Controller to manage day‑to‑day financial operations and drive process improvements across accounting, billing, reporting, and financial systems. The role blends hands‑on financial management with a strong focus on automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cash reconciliation across Authorize.net, bank deposits, Salesforce, QuickBooks, and customer payment records.
• Own recurring billing reconciliation, follow‑up on failed payments, collections, and resolution of payment issues.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, journal entries, month‑end close, and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, cash‑flow visibility, and inventory reporting and reconciliation.
• Identify gaps in financial workflows and implement improvements using AI tools, automation, and better system design.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, customer service, and leadership to ensure clean financial data and timely reporting.

Required profile

• Strong experience with QuickBooks and payment processors, preferably Authorize.net.
• Proven background in bookkeeping, reconciliation, month‑end close, AR/AP, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling recurring billing and managing failed payment workflows.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.
