About the role

The Quality Coordinator supports the implementation of Unilever's specifications, standards and Quality Management System (QMS) at the Palmira hub. This position ensures compliance with local regulatory requirements, drives continuous quality improvement, and safeguards consumer safety and product integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the site QMS to guarantee consumer safety and product quality.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audit certification processes.
• Prepare and update local procedures, work instructions, and quality verification self‑assessments.
• Collect, analyse, and report quality data, linking findings to standard loss trees and operational KPIs.
• Manage product incident data, support mock recall exercises, and ensure traceability of materials and packaging.
• Utilise SAP QM and Unilever InterSpec systems for quality documentation and verification.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or sourcing environment, preferably within consumer goods.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements related to quality, consumer safety, and ethical standards.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and influence decisions that impact product safety and brand reputation.
