Country Sales Manager - Andean Region

About the role

Nexus is looking for a Regional Business Development Manager based in Bogota who will build its business across the Andean region. The role covers selling in Colombia, building relationships in Venezuela, and mapping opportunities in Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Argentina. It works with a Houston team to turn requirements into RFQs, quotes and orders.

Key responsibilities

• In Colombia: find and win buyers among operators and service companies, own the pipeline and revenue targets.
• In Venezuela: lead supplier registration and build relationships with operators and service companies, with regular travel.
• In Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Argentina: lead supplier registration and build relationships, with regular travel.
• Work with the Houston team to turn requirements into RFQs, quotes and orders.
• Keep the pipeline current in the CRM.
• Report monthly on rig activity, contract awards, maintenance programs and tenders across the region.

Required profile

• 5+ years in sales or business development in the oil and gas sector in Colombia.
• A senior network among operators and service companies, at the level of procurement managers, maintenance superintendents and engineering leads.
• Direct authority over key accounts or commercial decisions in a past role.
• Fluent English (must have) and native or fluent Spanish.
• Clear understanding of anti-corruption and sanctions obligations when representing a US company.
• Willingness to travel across the region; experience in Venezuela or other Andean markets is a strong plus.
• An engineering degree is a plus.
