Data & AI/ML Solutions Architect – LATAM

About the role

As a Data & AI/ML Solutions Architect you will act as the technical and strategic bridge between customers, delivery teams, and executive stakeholders across Latin America. You will design end‑to‑end, cloud‑native data and AI architectures that deliver measurable business impact while ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design reference patterns, data models, MLOps pipelines and LLM orchestration solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Translate complex technical concepts into executive‑ready narratives, visuals and roadmaps.
• Advise clients on AI strategy, build‑vs‑buy decisions, governance and ethical considerations.
• Provide hands‑on guidance to developers, data engineers and ML engineers, reviewing code, pipelines and infrastructure.
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments and course‑correction actions.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute reusable accelerators and templates.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, data engineering or software engineering, with at least 3 years designing production AI/ML solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven success building large‑scale systems on AWS, Azure or GCP, including data lakes, feature stores and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to engage both engineers and C‑suite executives.

Required skills

• Python and a typed language such as Go, Java or C#.
• Deep‑learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX.
• NLP/LLM stacks: Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, RAG patterns.
• AutoML and orchestration tools: Vertex AI, SageMaker, MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code: Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.
• API design (REST/GraphQL) and data modeling.
