Data Analyst – Compliance (SQL, Python)

About the role

We are seeking a technically strong Data Analyst to join our Compliance team. The role focuses on solving complex business problems through data analysis rather than routine reporting. You will work with raw and complex datasets to deliver reliable, actionable insights that support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate ambiguous business problems from definition to solution, providing data‑driven recommendations.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Assess data quality, identify source inconsistencies, determine root causes and document transformation decisions.
• Apply statistical methods to validate hypotheses and ensure conclusions are data‑supported.
• Develop and maintain repeatable, reliable data workflows and analysis processes.
• Present technical findings clearly to business stakeholders.
• Use SQL and Python (or R) to query, transform, automate, and analyze data.
• Partner with business and engineering teams to improve data quality and collection processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of hands‑on data analysis experience beyond reporting.
• Professional English communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
