Data Engineer

About the role

As a Data Engineer you will design, operate, and harden an analytics data platform that powers reporting, attribution, and automation for a leading advertising agency. The platform covers data ingestion, transformation, validation, anomaly detection, and reliable delivery of modeled tables to Snowflake for dashboards and data‑science models.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows with orchestration and data‑quality checks.
• Publish validated reporting and modeling tables with documented lineage and service‑level agreements.
• Lead schema standardisation and intake processes, collaborating with Accounts and AdOps teams.
• Implement automated anomaly detection and near‑real‑time error dashboards.
• Maintain reliability metrics and documentation to minimise manual toil.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering or warehousing.
• Strong expertise in advanced SQL and Python for production ETL pipelines.
• Proven discipline in data modelling, quality assurance, validation, and documentation.
