DevOps Lead

About the role

Plan A Technologies is seeking a hands‑on DevOps Lead to own the design, security, and scalability of its cloud and edge infrastructure. You will bridge development and operations, driving automation across AWS environments, CI/CD pipelines, and Unity‑based game engine workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and maintain multi‑environment AWS infrastructure (dev, staging, production).
• Design and operate robust CI/CD pipelines, especially self‑hosted GitLab pipelines for every pull request and merge.
• Build and automate Unity build pipelines to integrate game engine assets with cloud deployments.
• Manage container platforms using Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS for both local development and production.
• Implement enterprise‑grade secrets management with HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
• Establish observability stacks: centralized logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Support IoT device data ingestion, scaling MQTT or Apache Kafka message brokers.
• Mentor and lead the DevOps/SRE team, promoting best practices and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional DevOps experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of building secure, highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English.
