DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Plan A Technologies is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to drive security, automation, and reliability across multiple AWS environments. You will own the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and compliance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and optimise infrastructure across development and production environments using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
• Support cloud migrations, integrations, and environment provisioning, including AWS S3 and UAT setups.
• Maintain a 90% SLA Security Score by configuring and monitoring AWS security services (CloudWatch, GuardDuty, AWS Config).
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800‑53 Rev 5 and CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark v3.0.0.
• Develop, optimise, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability.
• Lead incident response, troubleshoot production issues, and document architecture, security controls, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Data Science, and Network Operations teams to deliver stable, secure, and scalable systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or Security Engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS environments and security tooling.
